Finally, Rockvival – the day Mokokchung Town will immerse into the Rock fever has come. A total of about 1, 200 presale tickets have been sold and is expected to increase as the gate opens at 5 O’clock in the evening tonight at Imkongmeren Sports Complex.
Event headliner ‘About Us’ – an internationally signed band from Wokha has already reached Mokokchung as part of their ‘Rock on Top’ tour on Monday evening. Apart from ‘About Us’, The Spectrums- an ‘All-girl’ rock band is one of the most anticipated bands among the rock lovers while bands like Trap on Sight, Dümchak, The Great Decade, and Guitarist Arenlong are only hyping the event more.
The talent packed Mokokchung is on for a show that will forever be remembered.
“We are definitely going to have a blast. It really feels good that the rock music scene is coming back to Mokokchung. It has been too long since I was this excited for a concert,” said an excited fan, who, along with his friends, has already purchased a total of 6 tickets.
“Around twenty of us from our groups have already purchased the tickets. We are expecting more people to join us,” said another one who is as excited as the rest of his friends for the event.
Blendinevents director, Wapang expressed how unbelievable the whole experience has been with so much love and support coming in from all directions.
“When I first started this with such a low budget, I didn’t expect the event to go this huge. It started as an individual start up but now there are five of us in Blendinevents and the amount of support I am getting from all directions is tremendous,” said Wapang.
“I am super excited for this event and I am really grateful for all the help and support I am getting,” he added.
