A three-day Seva Setu Camp to create awareness and facilitate applications under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana will be held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office Complex in Mon from October 14 to 16.
According to a notice issued by Deputy Commissioner Wennyel Konyak, NCS, the camp will provide information and assistance to eligible beneficiaries on the scheme’s eligibility criteria, application procedures, required documents, installation process and empanelled vendors.
The initiative is intended to help residents understand the scheme and access its benefits, with concerned Power Department officials and empanelled vendors expected to assist visitors during the camp.
The Executive Engineer of the Mon Electrical Division has been directed to make the necessary arrangements and ensure the participation of relevant officials and vendors.
Ward chairmen and village council chairmen have also been asked to publicise the camp and encourage eligible residents to attend.
Residents interested in the scheme can visit the camp during the three-day period to seek guidance on the application process and related matters.
