Mokokchung, February 3 (MTNews): A three-day spiritual training program for Mokokchung Town Baptist Arogo (MTBA) Children Education Department (CED) teachers got underway today at MTBA Conference Hall, Mokokchung with Rev Tiyong, Missionary as the resource person.
The spiritual program is being held under the theme “Tsüngrem nem tajungtiba agütsüdi” (Let us give our best to God).
The spiritual program was attended by CED teachers from 10 fellowships under MTBA including United Christian Fellowship. On the first day of the spiritual program, an introductory session was taken after which Rev Tiyong preached about how God created everyone as good persons naturally and that if a person accepts and believes that one is good, then all his intentons and thoughts will be good.
He also said “God does not call the qualified, He qualifies the called” and encouraged the CED teachers to serve with good intentions and a good heart and not to conform with certain standards of the world lest God’s blessings will be snatched away. He concluded by saying that God has called everyone to serve and teach the children for God knows the plans he has for them.
The three day spiritual program will culminate on February 5.
