The Multi-Purpose Hall at GHS Japan Riba Chozuba was inaugurated by Razouseyi Vese, Director of School Education, Nagaland, as the special guest on April 15. He was accompanied by Ruyosuyi Khusoh, Joint Director; Vizolie Chucha, Joint Director; Khreikethozo, Nodal Officer for MDM; and Shri Elo, State Coordinator for MDM.
Vese commended the five village communities—Chozuba, Runguzu, Runguzu Nasa, Khusomi, and Chozu Basa—for their contributions to the funding and construction of the Multi-Purpose Hall for the students of GHS Japan Riba Chozuba.
He also encouraged the community leaders and parents to make the best use of government-provided facilities such as MDM, free textbooks, and free uniforms. Vese emphasized that government school teachers are well-trained and qualified in their profession.
Speaking to the gathering, Vese remarked, “The root of education is bitter, yet the fruit is sweet.” He urged the community to continue supporting the development of the school, assuring that the department would also give its best.
The function was chaired by the AHM of GHS Japan Riba, while the welcome address was delivered by Mr. Thupuveyi Shijoh. Rev. Vesavo Shijoh, Convenor of the construction committee, gave a brief report and expressed special appreciation to all well-wishers, including Shri Kudecho Khamo, Hon’ble MLA & Advisor to CAWD Nagaland, for his generous contribution towards the construction.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Rusangoyi Medeo, VDB Secretary of Khusomi Village. Special presentations at the event included a choral performance, drill display, and dance.
