The Home Department, General Administrative Branch – II, has issued a notification declaring two holidays for state government offices located in Kohima. The Governor of Nagaland has approved the 19th of April, 2025 (3rd Saturday) and the 17th of May, 2025 (3rd Saturday) as holidays in lieu of the working days on the 8th of February, 2025 (2nd Saturday) and the 22nd of March, 2025 (4th Saturday).
The 8th of February, 2025, was a working day due to the 6th Session of the Fourteenth Nagaland Legislative Assembly, while the 22nd of March, 2025, was a working day due to the Financial Year Closing, as declared in the Department’s earlier notifications dated 05/03/2025 and 21/03/2025 respectively.
