The leadership of the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has issued a directive to reopen the District Congress Committee (DCC) office in Tuensang, which has been locked by certain party members since November 2024. The action has been described as a violation of party discipline and is affecting the smooth functioning of the party.

In an official statement, NPCC General Secretary (Admin & Org) N Yona Konyak instructed all members involved in locking the office to unlock and reopen it by Monday, December 2, 2024.

The statement further warned that failure to comply with this order would result in strict disciplinary action under Article XXVI, Disciplinary Action (a), of the NPCC Constitution. The provisions of this article will be enforced against those found in violation, as per the party’s regulations.
