The 4th edition of the Nagaland Futsal Club Championship (NFCC) will begin on March 20, 2025, at the Futsal Centre, Regional Centre for Sporting Excellence, Sovima, Chümoukedima.
Organized by the Nagaland Football Association (NFA), the tournament will determine the state champion, who will earn the right to represent Nagaland at the AIFF Futsal Club Championship.
Established in 2021, the NFCC has grown into Nagaland’s premier futsal competition, providing a platform for teams from various districts to compete at a high level. The 2025 edition is expected to be a competitive event, with top clubs from across the state participating.
The tournament will begin with an opening ceremony at 3:00 PM on March 20 with H Tovihoto Ayemi, Advisor for Tribal Affairs and Election, Government of Nagaland, as the chief guest.
This year’s NFCC features seven teams:
· Nyenshen FC (Tuensang): A strong contender, having represented Nagaland at the 2024 AIFF Futsal Club Championship.
· Vanguard FC (Tseminyu): A club with a decade of experience and consistent futsal performances.
· Chümoukedima Sporting Club (Chümoukedima): An emerging force in Nagaland’s futsal scene.
· Proper V FC (Dimapur): A club focused on grassroots development and making an impact in futsal.
· Aphuyemi FC (Zunheboto): A community-driven club promoting futsal in Zunheboto.
· Zasivi FC (Kohima): A club known for its youth development programs.
· Lengreng FC (Peren): A team with strong performances in both football and futsal.
