The Nagaland Police Badminton Team delivered a strong performance at the 2nd All India Police Badminton Cluster 2025–2026 held in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, winning a total of 12 medals.

The team secured 8 gold, 2 silver, and 2 bronze medals across various categories.
The gold medal winners included Joseph Sumi in GO MS Open and GO MS 45+, Bendangnaro in NGO WS 35+, Uma Tamang in NGO WS 40+, and Imlirenla Jamir in NGO WS 45+. The duo of Joseph Sumi and Emmanuel Shohe won gold in GO MD Open, while Bendangnaro and Uma Tamang secured gold in NGO WD 35+. Uma Tamang and Imlirenla Jamir also clinched gold in NGO WD 40+.
The silver medals were won by Dr Sentinukla and Vesuzulo Swuro in GO WD Open, and Tajenkaba Ao and Imlirenla Jamir in NGO XD 45+.
The bronze medals were secured by Tajenkaba Ao in NGO MS 45+, and Raju and Tajenkaba Ao in NGO MD 45+.
Officials congratulated all players and support staff for their performance, noting that the achievement reflects dedication, discipline, and sportsmanship, and is expected to inspire young athletes across Nagaland.
