The Department of Higher Education, Nagaland, marked another significant step towards improving higher education infrastructure with the flagging off of two new college buses on July 2 at the Directorate of Higher Education in Kohima.
The buses were flagged off by Sarita Yadav, IAS, Secretary, Higher & Technical Education, in the presence of V. Lovitoly Sema, NCS, Ex-officio Director, along with officers, staff and representatives of the beneficiary colleges.
The buses have been allotted to Sao Chang College, Tuensang, and Pfutsero Government College, Pfutsero.
Meanwhile, the department expressed sincere gratitude to Chief Minister Dr Neiphiu Rio and Higher Education and Tourism Minister Temjen Imna Along for their continued support in strengthening higher education across the state.
