NDPP candidates declare candidature in Khar village, Impur AC

Khar, February 20 (MTNews): Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) candidate from 29 Jangpetkong Assembly Constituency, Temjenmenba held his candidature declaration program at Khar Village on Monday.

 

 

Temjenmenba during his address stated that he is contesting for the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly not as a politician but as a “mission” to serve the people.

 

The NDPP candidate said that, if given the peoples’ mandate, development and funding would be his responsibility while implementation should be a collective work of all stakeholders. He continued by stating that he envisions and prioritizes a permanent fund resource for the village council.

 

“Vote for the best candidate,” he said, appealing to the electorates for conducting a free and fair election and setting an example for the rest of the state.
Earlier, representatives from Khar Village Council and Changki Village Council gave brief exhortations.

 

It is to be noted that the 29 Jangpetkong AC is set for a triangular contest with Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) candidate Temjenmenba, Naga Peoples’ Front (NPF) candidate Imjongwati Longkumer and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) candidate Longrineken vying for a seat in the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly.

 

 

TN Mannen at 23 Impur AC

Mokokchung, February 20 (MTNews): NDPP candidate from 23 Impur (ST) Assembly Constituency TN Mannen today held a series of declaration programs for his candidature including his native village Longjang.

 

 

Starting the program from Khanimo village, the candidate covered his native village Longjang followed by Longpa village, Kubolong town and Chami village, an update received here said.

 

In all the places, it was reported that he spoke about his visions and shared his dream for the uplift of the constituency” which has relatively remained neglected for more than two decades.”

 

The candidate also asked the electorates of the constituency to inculcate the tenets of clean election so that change will happen starting from the constituency. He further solicited the electorates to cast their votes in his favor and elect him.

 

It was also reported that various officials from both NDPP and BJP parties of Mokokchung district as well as from NDPP central office attended and spoke at all the stops.
