Kohima, 4 November (MTNews): The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Kohima, in partnership with the Ministry of Information Technology, Government of India, organized ‘Techonovate 3.0 – Think, Visualize, Realize’ at the NIELIT Kohima campus auditorium on November 4, 2023.

Dr MM Tripathi, Director General of NIELIT, delivered a virtual address during the event, commending the Industries and Commerce Department’s appointment as the State Nodal Department for “Startups.” He hoped this appointment would create a conducive environment for startups to thrive. He urged Nagaland’s startup policy to establish the state as a regional leader in entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainability.

Lanuwabang, Director of NIELIT Kohima, emphasized that Techonovate 3.0’s aim to encourage active participation and commitment among startup enthusiasts and focus on exploring innovative ideas to shape the state and country’s economy.

Anubhav Tiwari, Chief Evangelist of Queenbook & Reclaim, discussed “Revolutionizing the Startup Ecosystem,” and the Nagaland Industry and Commerce Department presented a PowerPoint on empowering innovators on their startup journey in Nagaland.

Abhishek Mishra, Additional Director of STIP Nagaland, assured the government’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for startup growth, focusing on knowledge exchange, capacity building, innovative ideas, policy intervention, and access to funding.
