Mokokchung, 8 May (MTNews): The Naga Medical Students Association (NMSA) on behalf of the medical students studying in Imphal, Manipur has expressed its appreciation and gratitude to everyone who played a role in their safe evacuation from violence-hit Manipur.

“We hope that their efforts will continue to inspire solidarity and cooperation among people during times of crisis,” NMSA stated in a press release received here Monday.

While acknowledging the efforts made by the government, NMSA also made a fervent appeal to the government and concerned authority to take swift action to bring back people from Nagaland who are still stranded in different parts of Manipur.

While expressing its anguish and concern over the prevailing issue in Manipur, the association appealed to the State government and the conflicting communities of Manipur to resolve the issue amicably at the earliest.
