The NSCN-IM has launched a scathing indictment against the Indian Government, accusing it of orchestrating a proxy war through collusion with Myanmar-based militant groups to undermine the Naga Army and destabilize the region.

In a press statement issued through its Ministry of Information and Publicity (MIP) on Thursday, the NSCN-IM leveled accusations against the Government of India and the Indian Security Forces, including the Assam Rifles (AR) and Para Regiment, alleging a proxy war against the Naga Army using Myanmar-based militant group KNA(B) and the People’s Defence Force (PDF). According to the NSCN-IM, this has created a war-like scenario along the India-Myanmar border.

The statement also criticized the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for falsely alleging NSCN-IM’s involvement in the Meitei-Kuki-Zo conflict.

Additionally, the NSCN-IM alleged that the AR and Para Regiment were colluding with Kuki militant groups, providing unrestricted border access to KNA(B) while restricting others. The statement claimed that the Indian Security Forces have been supplying combat materials and training to KNA(B) and Chin PDF, including support for bomb-making operations, allegedly proven by photos of a bomb-making factory guarded by Indian forces.

Furthermore, the NSCN-IM highlighted the issue of over 5,000 Kuki refugees from Myanmar in Naga villages, accusing them of criminal activities and creating socio-economic burdens for the local population. The refugees are allegedly involved in criminal activities and collude with the Assam Rifles for cross-border movement.

The NSCN-IM also reported the killing of two Naga Army officers by KNA(B) and PDF, and criticized the Indian security forces for drone attacks on Naga camps in Myanmar as acts of international aggression, war crimes, and state terrorism.

The statement criticized the Indian Government’s sincerity in the ongoing political talks, viewing the military actions as undermining the peace process.

The NSCN-IM warned that the Government of India will be held accountable for any forced retaliation due to these alleged aggressions.

  1. It is my belief that mesothelioma will be the most dangerous cancer. It contains unusual qualities. The more I actually look at it the more I am sure it does not behave like a true solid cells cancer. In the event that mesothelioma is actually a rogue virus-like infection, so there is the chance for developing a vaccine plus offering vaccination to asbestos subjected people who are at high risk involving developing potential asbestos connected malignancies. Thanks for sharing your ideas about this important health issue.
