The Inner Line Regulation Commission (ILRC) of the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) will hold a consultative meeting with non-local organisations, associations, unions, welfare bodies and other stakeholder groups on the implementation of the Inner Line Regulation (ILR) in Nagaland.

According to a notification issued by the Commission, the consultation is scheduled for June 27 at 11:00 am at Hotel Grand Vista, Walford Colony, Dimapur.

The ILRC said the meeting is being organised as part of its stakeholder engagement process to facilitate dialogue and gather the views, concerns, experiences, observations and recommendations of non-local communities regarding the implementation of the ILR in the state.

The Commission has encouraged organisations to actively participate and share issues faced by their members, concerns relating to compliance mechanisms, administrative challenges, and suggestions for improving the implementation framework.

It stated that inputs received during the consultation would be taken into consideration while formulating its recommendations.

The ILRC has requested organisations to confirm their participation on or before June 25. Further details regarding participation and representation will be communicated upon confirmation of attendance.

The Commission said the publication should be treated as an official notice and invitation to all concerned non-local organisations and stakeholders.
