Lumami, 29 September (MTNews): Nagaland University’s headquarters Lumami hosted the Valedictory Program and Prize Distribution Ceremony for Hindi Fortnight-2023 which was held on 29 September 2023. Ashish Kumar Kumar, the Hindi Officer, informed that N Albert Khizho, the Finance Officer, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honor.
The Keynote Speaker, Prof MK Sinha, Dean of the School of Social Sciences, delivered an insightful speech, shedding light on the status and prospects of the Official Language in the context of India.
Dr Kundan Kumar, SMS of KVK Zunheboto, extended a warm welcome, and Mrs Angunuo Khieya, Deputy Registrar of Finance, expressed her gratitude during the Vote of Thanks. The event was attended by approximately 100 participants, including officers, faculty, staff, and students, with Mrs Priyanka Sengar, IAO, serving as the emcee.
Certificates and cash prizes were awarded to those participants who achieved top positions in the competitions organized by Nagaland University from September 14 to September 29, 2023. The success of the program was made possible by the dedicated efforts of the Hindi Cell staff, including Mr Lalan Kr Jha, Mr Entipong, Mr Somnath, and Mr Amritpal Singh.
