Public Sector Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) – IndianOil, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) – have assured uninterrupted supply of petrol, diesel and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) across Nagaland despite a rise in demand.

According to a press release from PIB Kohima, fuel supplies are being maintained steadily through the existing distribution network comprising terminals, depots, LPG bottling plants and retail outlets. It stated that dispensing operations at fuel stations across the State are continuing smoothly without restrictions, in line with prescribed safety and operational norms.

The release informed that adequate stocks of petroleum products are available across the supply chain, with continuous replenishment being carried out to meet consumer demand.

LPG supply to domestic consumers is also stated to be normal, with deliveries progressing smoothly across the State.

The oil companies further said they are coordinating closely on logistics, stock positioning and distribution planning to ensure uninterrupted energy access to consumers. The overall supply situation, it added, remains stable and under constant monitoring.

In view of the situation, consumers have been advised to avoid panic buying and continue normal purchasing behaviour. They have also been urged to rely only on official communications issued by OMCs for verified information regarding fuel availability.
