Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Imkong L Imchen, a senior leader from Nagaland.
In his message, the Prime Minister said that Imchen will be remembered for his outstanding contribution to Nagaland’s development. He noted that Imchen was active in public life for many years and remained deeply committed to the welfare of tribal communities. His legislative and ministerial tenures, Modi said, will be fondly remembered.
“He also contributed towards strengthening the BJP in Nagaland. My thoughts are with his family and supporters in this sad hour,” the Prime Minister added.
