Mokokchung, 2 November (MTNews): The newly appointed President of the BJP Mokokchung District, S Bendang Aier, officially assumed his new role on November 2, 2023 marked by a formal induction ceremony at the BJP Mokokchung District office. The event was attended by a gathering of party officials and supporters.
The outgoing President, Imolemba Jamir, while delivering a short speech narrated how he along with his colleagues, strove the party through thick and thin during the past four years. He also wished the incoming president the very best in achieving the collective aspirations of the party.
Newly appointed President S Bendang Aier, who was a BJP Nagaland State Secretary, upon taking the new responsibility, congratulated the outgoing office for taking the party thus far in the district. He challenged the BJP Mokokchung to continue with the good works of reaching the people with renewed vigor and commitment.
He challenged every karyakata to take it as a mission to reach out to every household in the district and spread the message of ‘Saab ka saath, Saab ka vikas”, the slogan of the BJP Government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He assured that the BJP Mokokchung District will be vibrant, strong and inclusive as always.
The program was chaired by Lanutoshi Longkumer, Vice-President, BJP Mokokchung District while Bendangtoshi Jamir, Vice President BJP Mokokchung invoked God’s blessings at the program.
