Mokokchung, July 6 (MTNews): An update from the department of Health and Family Welfare informed that Nagaland’s COVID-19 tally rose to 35,528 as six new COVID-19 cases – five in Dimapur and one in Peren – were detected on Wednesday in the state, while no recoveries and deaths were registered.

 

This takes the total number of active cases in the state to 21, out of which 19 are asymptomatic and two are mild. Dimapur accounts for 10 of these infections, while six are in Peren, two each in Kohima and Longleng, and one in Mokokchung.

 

The state has so far registered 35,528 positive cases, 33,253 recoveries and 761 deaths due to COVID-19 while 1,493 patients have migrated to other states so far.
