Strategies and roadmaps on improving floriculture economy in Nagaland discussed

Mokokchung, 3 May (MTNews): The Nagaland Flower Growers’ Society (NFGS) met the Chairman of Investment & Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) on 3 May. According to Abu Metha, IDAN Chairma, they discussed strategies and roadmaps on improving the floriculture economy and strengthening the eco-system behind the flower industry in Nagaland.

“Nagas, especially our women, are so passionate about flowers and everybody has a green thumb – we must convert this into prosperous livelihood, employment generation and contribute towards the overall economy,” Metha informed in a tweet.

 

 

Earlier, Metha also met with representatives of the Confederation of Nagaland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CNCCI). Metha appreciated the CNCCI for their positive inputs and insights to better the economic ecosystem of Nagaland.

 

 

“I look forward to working closely with the stakeholders to improve the investment and development scenario of the State,” he added.
