Chumoukedima, November 21 (MTNews): Nagaland Police and Christian Institute of Health Sciences & Research (CIHSR) signed a Memorandum of Understanding today at Rhododendron Hall, Police Complex, Chumoukedima.

 

 

Renchamo P. Kikon, IPS ADGP (Adm) and Dr. Sedevi Angami, Director CIHSR executed project “SAHYOG”, an initiative of Nagaland Police for availing subsidized health care service to IRB personnel and their dependents.
It was mentioned that a dedicated Facilitation cum Reception Counter has already been set up at CIHSR exclusively for IRB personnel.

 

SAHYOG is an initiative conceptualized and initiated by IGP IR Sonia Singh IPS for the welfare of IR families who are relentlessly supporting their men and women in IR Bn to serve the state and nation.

 

The project aims at providing subsidized medical treatment at CIHSR Referral Hospital, Dimapur to IR personnel and their families including spouses, kids and parents. This pilot project shall be gradually extended to all police personnel in the state of Nagaland.

 

Project SAHYOG is an endeavor to extend a bond of care and affection to police families and empower them by delivering basic services at their doorstep so as to ease the mental stress of the police personnel who are performing their bonafide duties in and outside the state of Nagaland.

 

In its first phase, project SAHYOG aims to provide subsidized medical treatment at Referral Hospital, to provide SAHYOG smart cards to all IR men and women and SAHYOG utility App for booking online medical appointments.
