The Sümi Hoho organized a felicitation program for the newly elected Office Bearers of the Sümi Totimi Hoho (STH) today at Sümi Hoho Ki in Zunheboto. The event was graced by the presence of officials from the Sümi Hoho, Sümi Kükami Hoho, Sümi Kiphimi Küqhakulu, Sümi Youth Organisation, and esteemed elders of the community.
In his address, Sümi Hoho President I. Nikheto Jimomi extended his greetings to the new STH team and encouraged them to continue the commendable work of their predecessors, with a special emphasis on the upliftment of women in society. He emphasized the importance of their role in driving positive change and development within the community.
STH President Vitoli Rochill expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the support and pledged to collaborate closely with the Sümi Hoho and its affiliated organizations. She assured her commitment to working for the welfare and advancement of the Sümi society, particularly focusing on women’s empowerment.
The program was chaired by Sümi Hoho Vice President Hokishe Kiba. A special song was presented by Yetokali Ruth Rochill, adding a musical note to the occasion. Rev. Honito Chophi led a prayer for the new team, seeking divine wisdom and knowledge for their leadership.
