Survival Mokokchung, an initiative under the Ao Students’ Conference (AKM), is set to be officially launched on March 25 and 26, 2025, in Tuli and Tzüdikong towns, spearheaded by the Langpangkong Students’ Conference (LKM).
As part of the initiative, all non-local residents in Tuli, Tzüdikong, and surrounding villages must undergo a verification process with valid documents, starting at 9:00 AM on both days.
According to the LKM, individuals must provide one or more of the following documents: Voter ID Card, Residential Certificate (RC) or Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) issued from their parent states, Land Patta, Electoral Roll duly signed by the District Magistrate and Election Officer, or PRC issued before March 24, 1971, as per the Central Government’s cut-off year for identifying illegal immigrants. Residents of Assam will also need to furnish their National Register of Citizens (NRC) document.
Additionally, all non-local residents must obtain a Temporary Residential Certificate (RC) from the current local authority, and a local guarantor must be maintained.
The verification will be conducted at the following venues: Forest and Raw Material Contractor Association (F&RMCA) Hall, Tuli – March 25, 2025; and Menji Ki (Waiting Shed), Tzüdikong – March 26, 2025.
