Anaki village is located in Tuli Circle of Langpangkong Range under Mokokchung district. It is located about 24 Kms away from Tuli Sub-divisional headquarters and about 104 Kms from Mokokchung town.
Founders of Anaki village migrated from Kangtsung village. It is said that during the Medemsanger era, Kangtsung village witnessed prosperity and population growth. As a result, some of the villagers resolved to form a new village in the nearby mounds and established the new village of Anaki with the blessings of the parent village. ‘Anaki’ may be roughly translated as ‘nearby habitation’.
