The three-day Naga Leaders’ Meet, organized by the Fellowship of Naga Baptist Associations (FNBA), concluded on a powerful note with a March for Unity and Solidarity from Long Ground, Ukhrul, to Union Baptist Church (UBC), the event venue.

The march, led by ordained ministers in cassocks, was a solemn and symbolic demonstration of unity, with hundreds of leaders joining in prayerful reflection. Rev. Izieteilung Tering, State Chaplain of Nagaland, led the opening prayer, blessing the gathering and setting a reverent tone for the closing ceremony.

At UBC, Rev. Dr. Akheto Sema, General Secretary of CBCNEI, led the Holy Communion Service, reinforcing the theme of unity in Christ. The observance served as a reminder of the leaders’ collective mission to work together for God’s Kingdom.

The Naga Baptist leaders resolved to work towards strengthening the body of Christ by loving God and loving one another in every aspect. They further resolved to build a community of faith and action, striving to bring light to a world in crisis. To this end, the fellowship is committed to worshiping God in spirit and truth, caring for its members with love and compassion, witnessing Christ through words and deeds, promoting the oneness of the Nagas in Christ, and organizing a Prayer Summit in the near future.

Delivering the closing remarks, Imnatoshi Longkumer, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, emphasized that true unity must be rooted in divine Truth rather than personal rights or beliefs. He urged believers to surrender their privileges for Christ, declaring, “Only the Truth that comes from God can unite us, and we must uphold its banner above all else.”

The gathering concluded with a benediction pronounced by Rev. L. Timothy, Pastor of Namdulong Baptist Church, marking the end of a spiritually enriching and unifying event.
