Kohima, 4 May (MTNews): The University Grants Commission (UGC), Ministry of Education, Government of India has on 2 May launched CU-Chayan portal for a unified recruitment portal for Central Universities. The unified recruitment Portal was designed and developed specifically for Central Universities.

 

The portal provides a common platform for listing vacancies/advertisements/ jobs across all the Central Universities. The portal makes the recruitment process completely online starting from inviting applications with the provisions of sending alerts in runtime to all users of the portal.

 

The UGC developed this portal to create an enabling environment for both universities and the applicants with universities driving all stages of the recruitment process independently, as is being done at present in the respective university.

 

Prof. Manish R Joshi, Secretary of UGC in notification vide 3 May directed all the Central Universities to use the CU-Chayan portal for all future recruitments by using the link https://curec.samarth.ac.in.
