Under Secretary, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), Mahipal Yadav, visited Mangmetong village in Mokokchung district on August 22, 2026, to inspect the site of the proposed infrastructure development project for Government High School, Mangmetong.
During his visit, Yadav held a detailed interaction with the school principal, village council members and local elders. He explained that the visit was aimed at physically verifying the site and assessing the existing conditions against the provisions of the Detailed Project Report (DPR).
One point to check: If the official project name is specifically “Infrastructure Development for Government High School Mangmetong Village”, it may be retained as a formal project title. Otherwise, the revised wording above is more natural.
