Kohima, June 28 (MTNews): Chief Secretary Nagaland, J Alam, IAS announced that the Union Finance Minister Government of India, Nirmala Sitharaman will be attending the Nagaland CSR & Investment Conclave 2022 scheduled to be held on 4th and 5th July 2022. He stated this while addressing the AHoDs & HoDs meeting on 28th June 2022 at the Nagaland Civil Secretariat Conference Hall, Kohima.
The Chief Secretary stated that the CSR conclave was the first of its kind in Nagaland which is being organized by Investment and Development Authority Nagaland (IDAN) and he reminded all Government Departments to give full attention towards the success of the programme.
Alam also informed that the State Government plans on implementing e-pension at the earliest and added that areas of reforms need to be addressed for proper functioning of the Government. The Chief Secretary expressed confidence that the new technologies can implemented successfully for ease of doing business since the State has able officers.
CEO IDAN, Alemtemshi Jamir while briefing the officers stated that the CSR conclave was “one step towards the many positive changes coming to the State.” He stated that various corporate companies have shown their interest in investing in Nagaland and expects fruitful participation.
He highlighted that there will be business-to-business and business-to-government interactions and bankers conclave during the event as well. The CEO sought cooperation and support from the officers of the State Government for the success of the programme.
