Wokha, 12 February (MTNews): In a continuation of previous efforts, authorities in Wokha district launched a “mop-up” operation on 12 February 2024 to remove unauthorized structures within compensated land along National Highway-61 (NH-61). The targeted stretch runs from KM 72.400 to KM 83.000.
The demolition process was conducted under the supervision of the District Administration, Police personnel, and various Civil Society Organizations (CSO) including Lotha Hoho officials, representatives of the Joint Action Committee, and officials from relevant government departments.
