Akuluto, 14 February (MTNews): Deputy Chief Minister and Minister in-charge of Home and Border Affairs, Y Patton, laid the foundation stone of the office of Sub-Divisional Police Officer at Akuluto Sub-Division, Zunheboto, on 14 February 2024.

Speaking at the program, Patton appreciated Advisor Kazheto Kinimi for initiating the project for the welfare of the people when it was most needed. He also assured to continue addressing the needs of the people for development in the days to come. Advisor Kazheto Kinimi expressed his appreciation to the Deputy Chief Minister for expediting the establishment of the SDPO post at Akuluto, which he deemed a landmark moment in the history of Nagaland Police.
During the program, SP Zunheboto, Kupe Kapfo, NPS, delivered the welcome address. Short speeches were delivered by Chairman Adhoc Town Committee Akuluto, Vikheho Achumi; President Akuluto Area GB Association, Ghotokhu; and DIG Range Kohima, Rotihu Tetseo. SDPO Akuluto, Meyiakum, NPS, chaired the program, while the vote of thanks was given by Addl. SP Zunheboto, Vekhrolo Koza, NPS.
A folk song was presented by the womenfolk from Lumitsami Village, while a folk dance was performed by Sutemi Village.
