Mokokchung, 25 January (MTNews): In a bid to empower and celebrate the significance of first-time voters, the Yuva Morcha BJP 1 Dimapur 1 Mandal organized the Nav Matdata Sammelan at the IMC Hall in Ward-9, Dimapur.
Tovihoto Ayemi, the Advisor for Tribal Affairs and Election, took the stage to shed light on the rationale behind hosting the Nav Matdata Sammelan. Ayemi highlighted the power and importance of first-time voters in the democratic process. He underscored that India, being a nation with approximately 61% of its total population below the age of 35, relies heavily on the strength of its youth.
“Democracy thrives when people actively participate,” Ayemi asserted, encouraging the first-time voters to actively engage in the democratic process and make their voices heard. The Advisor stressed the need for the youth to embrace their role as contributors to the nation’s democratic fabric.
Speeches were also delivered by Animesh Biswas, National Executive mmber, BJYM and Ankit Jain, President of Minority Morcha, BJP Nagaland.
The Yuva Morcha BJP Mokokchung district successfully held the Nav Matdata Sammelan at Town hall, Mokokchung on 25th Nov 2024. The drive was led by the district president, S. Bendang Aier along with all the Morcha presidents. A key note address was delivered by the the district president S. Bendang Aier encouraging the karyakartas to maintain the same spirit of cohesiveness, cooperation and dedication in the service of the people and the party. The drive saw an enormous applicant of more than 150 people making it a successful drive for the day.
