Mokokchung, May 2 (MTNews): The Revolution TT Club organised the 1st Moatsü Open Table Tennis Championship 2022 under the theme “Vision for tomorrow” with Kreho Athili, Chief Manager, SBI Regional, Mokokchung as special guest at the Mokokchung District Table Tennis Association-TT Hall on Monday.

 

Athili, addressing on the topic “vision for tomorrow,” stated that a career in athletics is attainable for those who are serious about it. While emphasizing that in order to achieve in sports and games, one must be prepared with goals and focus on a single goal in order to succeed.

 

He also challenged the organizers to undertake regular coaching sessions and to accept the task of creating national and world level players by 2030.Earlier during the inaugural program, a welcome speech was delivered by Tinumayang while Yanger presented a special number.

 

Imsutongzuk took first place in the singles category, while Wapangtoshi won second place, each receiving a cash prize of Rs. 5000 and Rs. 3000 respectively, along with certificates.

 

Imsutongzuk & Wapangtoshi took first place in the doubles category, with Sendonglemba & Tinumayang taking second place, receiving cash prize of Rs. 6000 and Rs. 4000, respectively, along with certificates.
