Chümoukedima, 21 March (MTNews): Following an intense day of competition, the host state Nagaland continues to retain the top spot in the medal tally at the 3rd North East Games 2024. Nagaland’s athletes showcased outstanding performances, accumulating a total of 31 Gold, 17 Silver, and 24 Bronze medals, bringing their total to 72, highlighting exceptional talent and determination.

Manipur, which overtook Nagaland in the medals tally today, slipped to the second spot with a total of 69 medals, including 29 Gold, 18 Silver, and 22 Bronze. Meanwhile, Assam maintains a strong presence in third place with a total of 78 medals, consisting of 21 Gold, 30 Silver, and 27 Bronze.
