“We wish to encourage our fellow youths to work for ourselves and also to promote dignity of labor along with academic qualifications,” said Medemren, adding, “it is also about time we learn how to earn for ourselves in this evolving world”.

He also pointed out the significance of the event in fostering unity among colleges, including the Theological College, for spiritual enrichment.

Medemren elaborated on the event’s broader objectives, saying, “It provides a platform for students to learn from great personalities, engage in healthy competition, and cultivate a sense of togetherness among all colleges in the Mokokchung district.”

Acknowledging the challenges of balancing academic responsibilities with fundraising activities, Medemren appealed to the community for generous support in their endeavor.

The upcoming event is set to be graced by the presence of Padma Bhushan Awardee, former Chief Minister of Nagaland, and former Governor of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, and Odisha, Dr SC Jamir.
