A specialist health camp on hypertension screening for adults aged 30 years and above was conducted on May 9 at Yangzitong Village in Kiphire district under the SBI Sanjeevani – Clinic on Wheels project, supported by Nature SBI Foundation Nagaland in collaboration with Yopikyu Thongstar Memorial Trust.

Longtili C Sangtam, Project Lead, informed that a total of 97 beneficiaries availed health services during the camp. Altogether, 82 laboratory tests and 42 hypertension screenings were conducted.

Sangtam expressed gratitude to the doctors and staff of Seyochung Primary Health Centre for their dedicated service and commitment to the welfare of the community, stating that their efforts reflected genuine care and compassion for the people.

He also thanked Yopikyu Thongstar Memorial Trust for its support, mobilisation and arrangements, which contributed to the success of the programme. He expressed hope for more collaborations in the future.

Sharing the project’s overall progress since its inception, Sangtam said the SBI Sanjeevani – Clinic on Wheels initiative has so far completed 488 MOPD services, reached 7,583 beneficiaries and conducted 1,774 laboratory tests.
