The Delhi Ao Kaketshir Telongjem (DAKT) has announced the setting up of an Admission Helpdesk to assist Ao students seeking admission to colleges and universities across Delhi-NCR for the academic year 2026–2027.
The initiative aims to provide guidance on admission-related information, course and college recommendations, documentation support, and general assistance throughout the admission process. The helpdesk will be operational from May 20, 2026, and will function daily from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm until further notice.
According to the announcement, the facility will cover admissions across Delhi University undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, law courses, private universities, engineering and technology institutions, medical and allied health sciences, management programmes, coaching institutes, schools, accommodation services, and other student support areas.
The DAKT has also set up support for accommodation, PG arrangements, rents and guesthouses, coaching institutes, and school admissions.
It also stated that a general assistance team will address queries not covered in the list and help resolve confusion regarding admission-related information. For general assistance, the designated contacts are Imtiyala Aier (8974152769) and Mendangsangba (7503094233), as per the officially circulated list.
It further clarified that the helpdesk is only intended to provide guidance and support during the admission process. The DAKT will not be responsible for admission outcomes, institutional decisions, financial transactions, independent accommodation arrangements, or any misinformation from unofficial sources.
“We encourage all students and parents to independently verify all information with official institutional sources before making any final decisions,” DAKT stated.
