The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Nagaland will begin in phases from August, according to the schedule notified by the Election Commission of India.

The qualifying date for the revision is October 1, 2026. Preparation and training activities will be conducted from August 5 to 14, while Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will carry out house-to-house verification from August 16 to September 14. Rationalisation of polling stations will also be completed by September 14.

The draft electoral roll will be published on September 20, and claims and objections will be accepted until October 20. After the disposal of claims and objections, the final electoral roll will be published on November 22.
