The Unger-Chuchuyimlang Link Road will remain closed from July 30, 2026, until completion of ongoing road maintenance work, the Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Changtongya, has informed.
In a travel advisory issued on July 29, SDO (Civil) Sangpangchang Lonumer, NCS, advised commuters travelling from Changtongya Sub-Division to Mokokchung Town to take the alternative route via Changtongya Town, Unger/Kelingmen Junction, Kelingmen Village, Longjang, Impur Junction and Mokokchung Town.
All concerned commuters have been requested to take note of the advisory and adhere to the alternative route during the closure period.
