A general meeting of the All Nagaland District Ministerial Service Association (ANDMSA), Mokokchung Unit, was held on Saturday at the CMO Conference Hall, Mokokchung, where members resolved to reorganise the district unit to strengthen its functioning.

The meeting was chaired by Imtisungkum (WRD) and began with an invocation by Imtimeren (PWD). Takotemjen from the CMO Office delivered the welcome address, greeting dignitaries including members of the visiting central team.
The program was attended by the General Secretary of ANDMSA, Petekhrielie Linyu, along with central team members. In his address, Linyu stressed the need for unity, collective responsibility, and a stronger association to safeguard the welfare of ministerial staff.
During the session, the central team presented its report, followed by discussions on issues concerning ministerial staff and the future course of action of the association. Members also revisited the role of ANDMSA since its establishment in 1982, noting its continued significance in representing ministerial staff across the state.
A key outcome of the meeting was the reorganisation of the Mokokchung district unit, aimed at improving coordination and ensuring more effective functioning at the district level. The meeting also included the presentation of the nominating report and the declaration of new office bearers for the unit.
Members were encouraged to remain diligent in discharging their official duties, with speakers noting that ministerial staff form the administrative backbone of government departments. They were also urged to extend support to the association in its future initiatives.
Representatives from all departments attended the meeting, which saw active participation from members across the district. The association expressed hope that the reorganisation would enhance unity, strengthen coordination, and contribute to improved administrative efficiency.
