Mokokchung 4 February (MTNews): The Ao Senden conveyed anguish and pain while expressing solidarity to the victims of the fire that ravaged the MMC Shopping Complex in Mokokchung on the night of 3 February 2024. In a press statement, the Ao Senden said that the unfortunate fire incident dealt a devastating blow to the dedicated local entrepreneurs and urged the Government of Nagaland to compensate the affected entrepreneurs in the best possible ways.
Meanwhile, the Ao Senden also expressed its profound gratitude to everyone involved in the timely intervention and suppression of the fire. “Our sincerest gratitude to the District Administration, Fire Brigade, SDRF, Assam Rifles, Mokokchung Police, AWUMT, MCCI and individuals for providing water from their own home-reservoirs to contain the devastating fire,” Ao Senden mentioned.
The Ao Senden also expressed gratitude to Imkongmar, Advisor for Sericulture & Minority Affairs, Government of Nagaland, for his timely visit and taking stock of the disaster on behalf of the Ao Legislators.
