Mokokchung, 24 April (MTNews): A one-day awareness and registration event on the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission was conducted in Mokokchung District for health professionals and health facilities. Organized by the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), the event took place on 24 April 2024 at the CMO Conference hall in Mokokchung District.
Dr Nyanthung Kikon, SNO ABDM Nagaland, provided an overview of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM). He stated that the mission aims to develop the necessary infrastructure to support the integrated digital health system of the country. This will enable people to connect with various healthcare providers across the ABDM ecosystem through the Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) number.
The training session was attended by doctors and nurses from Mokokchung district. They were trained on the implementation and functioning of ABHA among the general public, Healthcare Professional Registry (HPR), Health Facility Registry (HFR), and other ABDM initiatives.
The training concluded with on-site registration for the Healthcare Professional Registry (HPR) and Health Facility Registry (HFR).
The trainers for the event were Dr SYingnei Konyak, JD (Admin), and Mr Neipukhriezo Tetso, JD (IT), from the ABDM PMU team.
