Mokokchung, February 11 (MTNews): The Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh IAS has informed to all concerned and especially the contesting candidates and the additional agent expenditure that the timing of Central Expenditure Observer in respect of 25-Mongoya and 26-Aonglenden A/C will be conducted at the office chamber of the ARO 25 AC and 26 AC, Deputy Commissioner Office, Mokokchung as per scheduled.
The 1st inspection for 25-Mongoya and 26 Aonglenden AC will be held on 14 February at10:30 AM and 2:30 PM respectively. The 2nd inspection for 25 Mongoya and 26 Aonglenden will be held on February 20 at10:30 AM and 2:30 PM. The 3rd inspection for both 25 Mongoya and 26 Aonglenden will be held on February 26 at10:30 AM.
It informed that failure to produce Election Expenditure Register for inspection on the day fixed for this purpose shall tantamount to ‘failure to maintain a day to day of election expenditure’ as required under Section 77 of the Representation of People Act, 1951.
