The Dimapur Government College celebrated its 58th Foundation Day and 1st Graduation Day on July 25, 2024, in the college auditorium. The collaborative program, organized by the Parent Teacher Association of DGC and the college authorities led by its principal and IQAC, was attended by graduates, senior students, parents, faculty members, staff, and well-wishers. Numerous awards and certificates were presented in academic, co-curricular, and extra-curricular categories.
The ‘Dr Hokishe Sema Award’ for Topper in Arts was jointly awarded to two students: Imlikumla Longkumer (Economics) and Pauleuhing Teilia (Political Science). These two students also shared the ‘College Topper Award.’
The ‘LT Yepthomi Award’ for Topper in Commerce was awarded to Juny Maya (Commerce)
In addition to these awards, various departments of the college presented awards to their respective subject toppers. All awards included cash prizes and commendation certificates. Certificates for special contributions and achievements were also given to students who excelled in various activities within and outside the college.
