Wokha, 22 January (MTNews): The monthly meeting of the District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) for Wokha took place on January 22, 2024, at the Deputy Commissioner Conference Hall. The meeting, chaired by Deputy Commissioner and Vice-Chairman DPDB Wokha, Ajit Kumar Ranjan, addressed various key aspects.

Chairman Ajit Kumar Ranjan began the meeting by expressing gratitude to all the departments and officers for their generous contributions, which played a vital role in the successful execution of the Golden Jubilee celebration. Orenbomomo Humtsoe, DPO (Planning) and Convenor of the Organising Committee, presented a detailed account of the income and expenditures incurred during the jubilee celebration.

C Yanthan, Lead District Manager (LDM) for Wokha, highlighted the revised Annual Credit Plan prioritized for Wokha district. Chairman Ranjan urged all involved departments to mobilize and develop action plans to meet the outlined targets.

Anuranjan, Skill Development Officer (SDO), presented the holistic District Development Entry Form for the PM award. He informed board members about two award categories, namely the Priority Sector Programme and Innovation (General) Award, urging all departments to fulfill the necessary requirements along with supporting documents. Anuranjan also shared that the One Stop Centre for Local Entrepreneurship, known as SHISHOI OSHOM Entrepreneurship Task Force, has been formed for Wokha district, encouraging members to explore available opportunities.

Chairman Ajit Kumar Ranjan additionally informed the board about the upcoming Lok Sabha Election. He requested all departments to promptly submit detailed lists of employees and the number of government vehicles under their respective jurisdictions to the designated Nodal Officers, namely ADC Headquarter and SDO (C). The timely submission of this information is essential for election preparations.
