Mokokchung, 11 May (MTNews): The Governor of Nagaland has in an order announced the attachment of 12 Assistant Professors from their current postings to New Model College, Mangkolemba and New Model College, Wakching, Mon.
According to the order, the attachment is for a period of six months or till the recruitment is done by the NPSC, whichever is earlier. It was also informed that the Assistant Professors will draw their salary from their parent colleges. Handing over or Taking over of charges shall be done within 15 days of the notification, it said.
According to the order, five of the twelve Assistant Professors are from FAC Mokokchung and two are from Mokokchung College of Teachers Education (MCTE).
Bendangrenla S Jamir (English); Thejatseizo Angami (History); Nungshitemjen (Sociology); and Kethosilhu Meyase (Economics) are FAC Assistant Professors that have been made attached to New Model College, Mangkolemba.
Dr K Rijingkhum Yimchunger, Assistant Professor of Education at MCTE, has been attached to New Model College in Mangkolemba.
Meanwhile, Oliv L Ayemi of Mt Tiyi College, Wokha (Political Science) has been attached to New Model College Mangkolemba and MCTE’s Kereilhusa Peseyie (Physics); Sentibenla Aochem (Botany) of FAC has been attached to New Model College in Wakching, Mon.
