Dimapur, 29 April (MTNews): The Nagaland Foothill Road Co-ordination Committee (NFHRCC) in a meeting convened today adopted a set of five resolutions.

 

The committee resolved to appeal to the department of PWD(R&B) to provide the ongoing Division wise technical progress and performance based bill released status as well as to display it on public domain at the earliest as the monsoon season is fast approaching.

 

It also resolved to reiterate on its original pledge and resolutions by the Naga CSOs, which is ‘Not to pay any land compensations and also not to give any taxes to any groups or individuals’ as the mission is for the common welfare of the people of Nagaland.

 

It also resolved to give a written reply to all groups or individuals who had sought certain clarifications from the NFHRCC and further resolved to urge upon the State Government to expedite pursuance of its earlier Assembly Resolutions adopted on 22 September 2022 to construct the Foothills Road through North Eastern Council (NEC) funding.

 

The Committee also resolved to convene a joint meeting between the NFHRCC, the Department of PWD(R&B), the Office Bearers of the Dimapur based Tribal Hohos and the contractor firms to deliberate on the motorable road progression on 13 May at 10:00 AM at NFHRCC Base Office, Kher Mahal, Dimapur.
