Kohima, 29 April (MTNews): The special screening of the 100th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat will be held at the Kohima Raj Bhawan tomorrow. The actual screening begins at 11 am sharp wherein Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak to the people in his 100th Mann Ki Baat program.

 

Advisor, IPR, Government of Nagaland Imkong L Imchen will grace the screening event as the chief guest. The event is being organized in all the Raj Bhawans of the country by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting to celebrate the 100th milestone of Mann Ki Baat.

 

Padma awardees from Nagaland, Moa Subong of Dimapur and Neihunuo Sorhie of Kohima along with personalities mentioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his Mann Ki Baat speeches have also been invited for the occasion. Besides, artisans from the handloom and handicraft sector, heads of state government departments and other renowned personalities will also be attending the program.

 

A giant LED screen has been put up inside the Durbar Hall of the Raj Bhawan for the special screening. Doordarshan Kendra, Kohima and All India Radio, Kohima will be telecasting/broadcasting the event live while state DIPR will webcast it on YouTube.

 

The Central Bureau of Communication, Kohima which is also under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting will be putting up a mini photo exhibition on Mann Ki Baat showcasing the photographs and stories of change-makers mentioned in Modi’s MKB speech.

 

Mann Ki Baat has also seen participation and involvement from various sections of people from the north east region and PM Modi has also been promoting the indigenous cultures, traditions, festivals and heritage of the northeast in his MKB speeches.
