The Government Higher Secondary School, Kiphire, held its felicitation program in their school indoor auditorium. In the program, the principal, YP Singh, congratulated all the HSLC and HSSLC candidates for their efforts and success in the exams. He emphasized that this period is crucial for decision-making in their student life, encouraging them to be cautious and wise in all their choices, whether regarding subjects or friendships.
“One cannot grow without any struggle in life, as success belongs to those who don’t give up despite failures,” he advised.
Sethricho, a 12th class teacher advised the students not to think of themselves as any less than other students or friends around you. He also cited commendable performances of government schools from Mokokchung and Dimapur in recent years. “We should work hard and learn from them,” he added.
A total of 88 students appeared for class 12 exams, with 73 students passing. Over 20 students achieved first division scores, and several received commendable distinctions in various subjects.
For class 10, 61 students appeared, and 10 students passed their HSLC exams.
The event included a prize distribution for outstanding students, who received cash and certificates based on their academic and attendance performance.
The program was led by Dekhingla, with an invocation from Talirenla, a speech on behalf of the outgoing students by Munguli, followed by a mass prayer.
