Imtinaro T Longkumer of Hill Theatre Nagaland received the North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC) Young Talented Artiste Award for 2021-2022 in the field of Theatre, along with other recipients from Northeastern states.

Imtinaro T Longkumer of Hill Theatre Nagaland received the NEZCC Young Talented Artiste Award for the year 2021-2022 in the field of theater.

The award ceremony took place on 24th March 2024 at NEZCC Shilpgram, Guwahati (Assam), and was presented by the Governor of Nagaland, La Ganesan.

Imtinaro T Longkumer’s theatre works include ‘Don’t Women No Cry’ and ‘Jina Etiben’, both directed by Bendang Walling. ‘Jina Etiben’ was performed at various State and National Theatrical Festivals organized by the National School of Drama across India.

She also appeared in the 2016 feature film ‘The Curiosity Shop’, directed by Shankar Barua.

In addition to theatre and film, Imtinaro has featured in short films and documentaries such as ‘Senmang’ (2021) directed by Bendang Walling and ‘Way Back Home’ (2023) directed by Sandeep. ‘Way Back Home’ received awards for Best Short Film, Best Director, and Best Lead Actress at the Kolkata International Film Festival.

She has also acted in the web series ‘Dreams and Chaos’, directed by Bendang Walling, which won the Best Web Series award at the Kashi Indian International Film Festival.
