The veterinary clinic named “Kicükiri Clinic” is located above Clover Dental Clinic near Sainik Bhawan, Sepfüzou, Kohima.
In the short but grand dedication programme attended by family members, well-wishers, farmers and pet lovers, Dr Talimoa narrated how he started his journey as a veterinary student in 2007 at Khanapara under Assam Agricultural University. He has a post graduate degree in veterinary microbiology from Hyderabad and is an expert in pig artificial insemination and piggery development.

Speaking at the programme, Vipralhou Kesiezie, former Chairman of NPSC and former director of SCERT recollected how he inaugurated the Clover Dental Clinic four years back in the same building. He said that he was happy to be speaking again on this auspicious occasion of the Kicükiri Clinic dedication .

While congratulating the proprietor on his new clinic Kesiezie expressed his deep appreciation for the new breed of educated Nagas venturing out independently instead of seeking government employment. He also encouraged the clinic to provide services outside the clinic for farmers.

Main speaker, Rev Zotou Kiewhuo, Senior Pastor of Koinonia Baptist Church, spoke from the Bible and said that God created all beings and loving and taking care of animals is also our humane responsibility. In his dedicatory prayer, Rev Kiewhuo blessed the clinic, the surroundings, the workers and everyone involved. He stressed that everyone must strive to make Nagaland self-sufficient in livestock products and that vets must assist and educate farmers as much as they can.

Former Additional Director of H&FW, Dr. Medem, speaking on behalf of the family, congratulated Dr Talimoa and expressed hope that it would benefit the pet lovers and livestock farmers in and around Kohima.

The Kicükiri Clinic at Kohima is equipped with its own laboratory and conventional radio diagnosis. It has separate areas for healthy and infected pets; a dedicated operation theatre, bloodless surgery options, patient monitor and other diagnostics devices “specifically calibrated for animals”. It also has pet grooming, day care and in-patient facilities. It will also provide consulting and hand-holding services for livestock farmers.
